Lot's of great designing happening. These designs are due this Friday. Some of you are needing an interesting distraction from the Web POS and the Agenda Cover. Take a look at this tutorial. It show you how to use pictures of the ground to create planets. This is excellent practice in using different tools. Have fun!

Austyn kehrbergs is awesome and it is unique and different

ReplyDeleteI really liked how the many different shades of reds and whites, look awesome how they are, but would also be abel to be extended and almost faded out on a larger canvas. I also like the distressed font, when i saw it I thought of some of the Jansport type shirt, which definitly made me think of school. And adding the Abe in there, added the darker effect that it needed to stick out.
AGENDA COVER: Noah Gunther & Justin Gadke
Noah, i LOVED how modern and in the times adding the head phones and sun glasses were. it worked very well in your favor, and made the design as a whole stand out. i also liked that the back round had only little bits of detail, and wasnt to busy to overpower the silouette of Abe. doing the plain yet bold, and subtle details that make people re look at the design was awesome.
Justin, i liked how the design had a lot going on, but didnt overpower anything on the desgin. the distressed letter work matched well with the rest of the design and adding the smaller texts to the outside added the "wrap up" of the whole design. i also really liked how the design is neither masculin nor feminine. and the wrap arounds on the WR look much better on paper.

I really like the faded 13-14 on Dalen's
and then i really liked the WR/cirlce on Austyn's.

DeleteI think for the program of studies it would be Dalen Dahls. Everything goes well from the darker WR to the bright red outline of Lincoln himself. It ties together very well.
